Vaginas and Periods 101: A Pop-Up Book (price excl GST)
[Price EXCLUDES TAX. GST will be added at checkout for Australian orders]
Vaginas and Periods 101: A Pop-Up Book is a fun and creative way to learn more about vulvas, vaginas and periods. The book is highly interactive, using pop-ups and colourful graphics to normalise anatomy and explain menstruation. There is an important section on vulva diversity including a mirror and some clever interactive pages showing how the egg moves during ovulation.
We really appreciate the use of non-gendered language throughout the book.
It's an honour to distribute this incredible resource created by Christian Hoeger and Kristen Lilla, illustrated by Sara M. Lyons.
"As licensed mental health therapists and sex educators, we teach a lot of young people and we saw a need to normalise menstruation and couldn't believe this book didn't already exist! We want young people to feel comfortable in their bodies throughout puberty and into adulthood. Plus, we know not only girls/women menstruate so we've been very intentional to not use pronouns in the book and to include non-binary characters."
