Uterus & Ovaries Earrings
[Price EXCLUDES TAX. GST will be added at checkout for Australian orders]
Our talented friends at Snafu Design have created some earrings to support conversations and education about reproductive anatomy.
These laser-cut earrings are shaped like the uterus and adnexa — uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries — and they capture something most anatomy diagrams get wrong: the ovary and fallopian tube aren't fused together. Each earring shows the fimbriae reaching toward the ovary, with a deliberate, visible gap laser-cut between them, exactly as it is in the body.
That gap isn't a design flaw — it's the whole point. It's how we start the conversation about how the oocyte actually travels: released into the pelvic cavity, then swept up by the fimbriae into the infundibulum, on its way through the tube. It's also why this anatomy matters clinically — from ectopic pregnancy risk to tubal ligation procedures that don't require touching the ovary at all.
Made for clinicians, by people who care about getting the anatomy right
Designed for healthcare professionals, health educators, and anyone who values anatomy education. Wear them in clinic, at conferences, in the classroom or everyday — they're a subtle, stylish way to open the door to a conversation that can otherwise feel clinical or awkward.
Why we made these
At Cliterate, we believe good anatomy education doesn't have to live only in textbooks. Sometimes the best teaching tool is something people notice, ask about, and remember — and an earring that starts with "wait, why is there a gap there?" does exactly that.
These earrings are made from laser-cut acrylic and the studs are made with a titanium post, stainless steel pad with a hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant comfort clutch.
The perfect conversation starter, a fabulous gift-to-self or a thoughtful gift to share with others. Check out our vulva, clitoris, and IUD shaped earrings. There is something for everyone!
